FAQ #43
TitleCan something be done about the standing water in our swale?
QuestionI have water that stands in my yard for the rainy season. Can something be done for this?
AnswerOur stormwater system is designed to hold water up to 24-48 hours after the rains stop. This allows the water to percolate into the ground, removing contaminants before they enter the stormwater pipe system. If water remains for more than 48 hours (and no additional rain is received), place a "Request for Service" through the Support Center.
